Bethany Learning Academy is a church school covering families in Alabama who choose to educate their children at home. We are an extension of Bethany Family Ministries, dedicated to serving Christ through teaching His word. "Train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old, he will not depart from it." ...Proverbs 22:6 We believe that the education and upbringing of a child is by far the most important task of a parent's life. We also believe that public school, private school, homeschool, private tutor, or any other source of education, are all tools. Whichever tool a parent utilizes while directing the education of their child should never compromise values held in highest regard by the individual family unit. From beginners to experts, we are here for you. Our ministry is focussed on helping new homeschoolers with organization and planning. We do, however, respect parental authority and require nothing more than the state laws mandate. We will help as much or as little as a homeschooling parent desires.
