Services Offered

We promote academic excellence. It is our goal to provide each family with tools to enhance learning from day one of enrollment. Each year the administrator donates login information for academic resources via the internet. Our current contracts are as follows:

Contract 1. www.myschoolhouse.com This is a class resource that is offered free to BLA members through our online class for parents. "Using Internet Resources for Home-Education." This class is offered to non-BLA members for a small fee. This resource provides multi-subject worksheets which are completed and graded online. There are several other features that make this site an asset to homeschooling.

Contract 2. www.ixl.com This site offers a complete practice environment online for students from PreK- 8th grade. You can guide your student through your state standards for math or all standards can be viewed from all states!

Contract 4: www.worldlibrary.net If you are a member of BLA and have paid your tuition in full for the academic year, you can accesss this site free of charge. Here you and your students can read ebooks online. This site offers more than 700,000 titles.

we are researching others as you read.

We research homeschool resources so that you do not have to. For every link you see on our "links" site and HS TV site, we reviewed hundreds just like them to make certain we provide you with the best recommendations.

We advise that you become members of the HSLDA but do not require membership. This is a choice you have to make.

We provide high school transcripts. Our online database provider collects information that can keep all of your information organized and ready when you need it.

We organize at least 4 field trips per year.(possible fees) We have many more than 4, but to be safe in the event we have a major issue arise, we claim a min. of 4. Please view those we have planned so far on the field trip tab.

We host at least 2 parties per year. You may link to our 2009 prom photos from the home page. 2010 shots will be uploaded when time permits.

We provide a detailed calendar of state-wide events. Chelsea Grimes is our academic fieldtrip coordinador.

All of our events, activities, and field trips are open to all homeschoolers. Our members enjoy the log-on resources to help with academic needs. We are academically focused and hope to help you achieve academic excellence.
